Katie's Question


1. Imagine you are a farmer, Mr. Goodenough.

Write a letter to the Local Council stating your situation and concerns.

In your letter you should write about:

Your knowledge of the Beast
The losses youve suffered as a result of the Beasts appearance
The possible consequences of allowing the animal to continue to roam free

Begin your letter:

Dear Council Member, I am writing to alert you to my situation…’

Candidates might use the following ideas:

A2:  The Losses Youve Suffered as a Result of the Beasts appearance

Costs £1000 in livestock
Sheep

A3: The Possible Consequences of Allowing the Animal to continue to Roam Free

Cost of tracking down the Beast has become expensive
Loss of livestock
Cost of livestock to farmers
Could possibly injure or kill a person
